Kayak
"NERIS Alu-3" - Classic double seater kayak designed to explore the open waterways (lowland rivers, lakes, reservoirs and seas). It is perfect for a paddle for the day, and up to long journeys.

Features
The kayak has a cargo area space in the front of the rear paddler as well as the usual storage spaces in the under deck bow and stern sections, and comes with comfortable one piece inflatable seats with tall backrests. The "NERIS Alu-3" has duralumin frame pieces with brackets made of stainless steel, which significantly improves the kayak's reliability, strength and endurance.

Design
The "NERIS Alu-3" has a simple and reliable design. The boat is easy to assemble, has no short-lived plastic/rubber fasteners in the framework. The frame is made of high quality D16T grade anodized duralumin tubing. The large cockpit means shorter front and rear decks and hence smaller internal storage spaces within the ends of the kayak. The benefit of this is that the bow and stern spaces is more easily accessible plus the rest of the storage space is actually in the centre of the cockpit with no access restrictions at all. The skin is made entirely of durable PVC which does not absorb water, so after a paddle, simply wipe with a dry cloth and the kayak is ready to be packed. All the cross ribs are of the closed design (closed loop) - EG the front two seats uses the cross rib for the back rest support.

Crew
Number of seats - three adults, or optionally two adults and 1-2 children.
There are 2 different spray covers available - to cater for the different seating arrangements plus optional extra child seat.
This kayak can be used as a double seater for extended expeditions using the front and rear seats and utilising all the central space for cargo. Vacant cockpit holes in the spray deck can be closed off with optional cockpit covers.
